With Rome overrun by the Nazis, Italian resistance fighters had two major foes: the Germans and the Fascists. The very pregnant fiancée of a hardened resistance fighter joins the cause by carrying secret message. Rossellini, best known for making films in the Neorealist style (location filming, nonprofessional actors, humanistic stories), began making Roma, Open City less than a year after the end of World War II.

Arte da Lucca alla Cina

Nelle scorse settimane A. e la sua amica C. hanno partecipato quasi per gioco ad un concorso d'arte e di design organizzato dal Politecnico di design di Milano in collaborazione con uno studio di architettura cinese. Pochi giorni fa hanno ricevuto la notizia che hanno vinto il 1º premio (2.000 € che si divideranno tra di loro). Ieri hanno portato la loro opera al Politecnico di Milano perché sia spedita in Cina e una di loro (purtroppo non A. che è ancora minorenne) andrà anche in Cina alla fine di novembre a presentare la loro opera al 21° Guangzhou International Art Fair. Al concorso hanno partecipato oltre 400 concorrenti under-35 suddivisi in 3 categorie e loro due sono state le più giovani partecipanti (A. addirittura ancora minorenne per meno di due mesi). Stamani invece ultime preparazioni per la mostra d'arte (presentazione dell'opera e curriculm vitae da scrivere in inglese) e colloquio con il preside del Liceo Artistico che si complimenterà con loro visto che questa vittoria sarà ascritta tra i meriti del Passaglia di Lucca.

Viaggio in Italia



Oggi finalmente, grazie a RaiPlay, sono riuscito a vedere "Viaggio in Italia" di Rossellini con la magnifica Ingrid Bergman (l'idolo della mia mamma). È queato film che ha ispirato il titolo del documentario di Scorsese "Il mio viaggio in Italia" che ho visto moltissimi anni fa in televisione e che non sono mai più riuscito a rivedere. Come mi piacerebbe farlo!

Fatto sta che alcune piastrelle della mia cucina nei giorni scorsi hanno cominciato a muoversi e a studiare la legge di gravitazione universale di Newton.

Io lo sapevo

Io lo sapevo. Sapevo che se tornavo su FB allora per questo blog sarebbe stata la fine. E così è stato. Conoscevo bene le mie personali dinamiche su FB ed ero conscio che quello strumento sarebbe stato un accentratore di tempo. Quando sono su FB la sua home-page non ha mai fine: scorri e scorri e... scorri. E poi ci sono i cretini che pubblicano le bufale e ci credono e ti viene da aiutarli e ne ricavi solo insulti. E poi ci sono tutte le cattiverie del mondo e ti indigni e ti indigni. E poi ci sono i like, che sai che non vogliono dire nulla eppure quando ti arrivano sei contento e se poi ne arrivano anche tanti sei ancora più contento. E diventi così bravo che ormai hai imparato quale tipo di post attirerà più like e quasi ti diverti a provare a te stesso che è così e scopri che hai ragione e nello stesso tempo che lo scopri ti rendi conto che è tutta una fandonia, che stai solo giocando a fare bene il nuovo mestiere di questo secolo, cioè il marketing. Eppure sono dovuto tornare su FF perché una pagina non personale che avevo lì con un account farlocco (usato solo per pubblicarla) era stato scoperto dagli algoritmi di FB che mi avevano bannato perché è contrario alle loro regole pubblicare con un account falso non corrispondente ad un umano. E così sono tornato con il mio vero account e... tutto il resto. E questo blog muore, ormai usato solo per registrare i film che vedo, le mostre che visito e i ristoranti in cui mi fermo a mangiare. Che brutta fine...
